During this two-year journey, I’ve deepened my understanding of what it means to lead with authenticity and have reflected on my strengths as a leader, particularly in group settings. I was constantly questioning how to navigate both my strengths and my shadows. In BISO, I’ve had the opportunity to face parts of myself I might have previously avoided, learning not only how to embrace them but also how to transform them into resources for personal and collective growth.
A key part of this journey has been encountering and navigating conflict—something I’ve considered as an experiential gift. I’ve learned how to hold space for discomfort, recognizing it as an opportunity for growth rather than something to shy away from. This shift in perspective has been powerful, helping me embrace the tension that often arises in group dynamics or within myself, using it to move forward with clarity and purpose.
