My name is Peter, I am 60 years old, and I have been dancing Conscious Movement for eight years. About three years ago, I felt the desire to share everything I had learned as a dancer. This decision led me to the BISO (Body in Soul) training, which has been one of the most enriching experiences of my life. The BISO training goes beyond traditional dance and movement practices. It combines deep anatomical knowledge, creative movement work, and ritual elements to offer participants a holistic method of movement facilitation. For me, this meant not only learning new techniques but also understanding how to guide others through movement on emotional and spiritual levels. One of the most valuable aspects of the training was the group exchange. Each person brought unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, making the learning process dynamic and enriching. This diversity helped meevolve as a dancer and future teacher while encouraging me to reflect more deeply on my own personal growth. I found the combination of intellectual understanding, drawn from my professional background, and body awareness through BISO to be particularly inspiring and fruitful. The training was not just an educational journey but also a significant step in my personal development. I could feel myself growing into the role of a teacher. In two years, I will retire from my current profession, but this transition marks the beginning of a new chapter. I am excited to offer my own dance classes under the title “Body, Soul, Love” and to guide others on their journey of self-discovery through movement.
